We’re doing it again, because we just can’t get enough! Experience a true girl-power adventure, where we combine spectacular hikes with authentic experiences and a strong sense of community. This year’s adventure will be led by North Away’s expert guides, who know the islands’ secrets and hidden gems — while Emma Østergaard sets world records in Pakistan!

Our dream is to bring together a group of women who share a passion for adventure and a desire to create unforgettable memories together., This journey will take us through the majestic landscapes of Lofoten, where we’ll hike among breathtaking mountains each day — a perfect mix of classic, must-see peaks and Fie’s personal favorites, leading us away from the crowds and onto trails we’ll remember for a lifetime.

During our journey, we’ll camp in stunning locations, cook our own evening meals, and enjoy meaningful conversations around the fire. We’ll hike to breathtaking viewpoints, experience an Arctic sauna, and visit Polarhagen for a unique culinary lunch experience. Throughout the trip, we’ll regularly stay at facilities with toilets and showers to ensure comfort and convenience. At other times, we’ll responsibly make use of nature’s resources. Most of our luggage will be transported for us during the majority of the adventure.

Before our departure to Lofoten, we’ll host a group online briefing — a valuable opportunity to share experiences, receive helpful tips, get to know each other, and much more!

Rejsens samlede pris er 19.700 NOK, hvilket svarer til ca. 12.900 DKK (afhængigt af den aktuelle valutakurs). Bemærk, at betalingen faktureres i norske kroner (NOK), men vi har angivet en vejledende pris i danske kroner for din orientering. Type of adventure

Most days, you will need to carry a daypack with water, snacks, and extra clothing/rain gear. Since we will be hiking and camping on a hidden beach one of the days, it's important to also bring a larger hiking backpack for your gear. We recommend packing a duffel bag for check-in, with your larger hiking backpack placed on top, and using your daypack as carry-on luggage. We will ensure that your duffel bag is transported between destinations.

Physical form

This trip is for you who are looking for a great experience and are ready to be challenged. Every day we climb a new mountain, and even if we adjust the pace so that everyone can keep up, it will be a physically demanding trip. Prepare for tough but rewarding hikes in magnificent nature.

Transport to Lofoten

Our journey starts at Moskenes Færgekai. One of the cheaper transport options is to fly to Bodø and take the ferry to Moskenes. As this is a longer journey, it may be necessary to arrive in Bodø the day before. Alternatively, you can fly directly to Leknes in Lofoten and take a bus that takes about an hour to Moskenes Færgekai.

Arrival & departure

Vi mødes omkring kl. 14 ved Moskenes Færgekai, afhængigt af færgetiderne den dag (kommer senere). Rejsen vil fører os gennem Lofoten fra syd til nord, og vi afslutter ved Svolvær Busterminal omkring kl. 10 d. 28 juni. Vi anbefaler, at du flyver hjem fra Svolvær Lufthavn.

Day 1: Welcome to Lofoten
We meet either at Moskenes Færgekai or Moskenes Camping, depending on how you choose to arrive in Lofoten. The fastest route is to fly directly to Leknes Airport in Lofoten, although this may be the more expensive option. A more economical solution is to take a flight to Bodø and then a ferry to Moskenes in Lofoten. Our journey starts in Moskenes, where we meet during the afternoon. The evening's camp will be set up, and there will be a welcome dinner after a long day of travel, where we will have time to get to know each other even better and enjoy the spectacular surroundings.
Day 2: A Lofoten classic
Get ready for one of the most spectacular hikes in Lofoten, offering a must-see view! After the hike, we’ll treat ourselves to an unforgettable experience at a locally run, fifth-generation restaurant, sampling the delicacies of Lofoten (lunch at your own expense). Afterwards, we’ll be transported to our accommodation, peacefully located by a pristine white-sand beach. Following dinner, we’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset hike.
Day 3: A hidden gem
Today’s program includes an extraordinary hike to the summit of a mountain, standing 543 meters above sea level. On this day, we’ll be carrying full packs, meaning each of us will have a backpack with space for a sleeping bag and sleeping mat. We’ll also share cooking gear and tents among the group, as after reaching the summit, we’ll hike down to a hidden beach accessible only on foot. Upon arrival at this secluded beach, we’ll spend the evening in breathtaking, untouched surroundings, preparing and enjoying dinner together amid the magnificent nature. Please note that all gear must be carried to the beach, so it’s important to bring a sturdy backpack that can accommodate the necessary equipment.
Day 4: Panoramic views & 'Polarhagen'
Today it stands on an exciting ascent of the Offersøykammen, which towers 436 meters above sea level. Depending on our breaks and walking speed, we expect the trip to the top and back again to take approximately 2-3 hours. From the top, we are rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the Lofoten landscape and the vast Norwegian Sea. Afterwards, a delicious lunch visit awaits us at Polarhagen. Here we will be guided around their impressive and organic garden by the owners, Danish Parsa and his Norwegian wife Lisa. We round off the day with a world-class camp spot.
Day 5: Hike, Henningsvær & arctic sauna
Our day begins with a hike in northern Lofoten. Afterwards, we visit the charming town of Henningsvær, where there will be 'free time' to visit the cozy local shops and small cafes (lunch in Henningsvær is at your own expense). After a wonderful afternoon in Henningsvær, we drive towards our last accommodation. An arctic sauna and spa experience awaits here, as a good end to the trip.
Day 6: Farewell to Lofoten
We’ll conclude at 10:00 AM at Svolvær Airport, where you’ll have the option to catch a flight home.

Jeg var så heldig at få lov til at være en del af en fantastisk gruppe inspirerende kvinder, og fællesskabet gjorde hele oplevelsen endnu mere særlig.

Den smukkeste uge i fjeldene!
Den mest fantastiske uge med North Away! Jeg deltog på Girlpower-turen som solorejsende fra Canada, og det var en helt fantastisk oplevelse. Programmet var sammensat på den perfekte måde med en god balance mellem vandreture, aktivitet og tid til at slappe af. Samtidig fik jeg masser af praktisk erfaring med camping, vandring og problemløsning undervejs.

Selvom jeg var engelsktalende, følte jeg mig utrolig velkommen, og det forhindrede mig på ingen måde i at skabe meningsfulde relationer og gode samtaler med de andre kvinder. Jeg rejser hjem med nye venskaber, stærke minder og en følelse af at have været en del af et inspirerende og empowering fællesskab.

En drøm, der gik i opfyldelse!
Det var en helt fantastisk rejse arrangeret af North Away og NORDBAEK.

Alt var perfekt - vandreture, havkajak, saunagus, nordlys, sneklædte fjelde, solskin, fantastisk mad, havbad, ro, det magiske lys i Lofoten og meget mere. Jeg var helt høj på oplevelser og livsglæde efter denne tur!

Jeg følte mig tryg, glad, godt tilpas og utrolig heldig hele vejen igennem.

Programmet var virkelig gennemtænkt og sat fantastisk godt sammen. Bjørn og Fie er nogle helt igennem skønne mennesker, og det var beundringsværdigt at opleve, hvad de har skabt for denne gruppe.

North Away x NORDBAEK - version 2.0
Hvorfor rejse til Lofoten for anden gang på ét år med North Away x NORDBAEK? Ja, selvfølgelig fordi omgivelserne er postkortsmukke. Men det er fællesskabet i NORDBAEK, og ikke mindst North Aways gæstfrihed og lokale kendskab, der virkelig skiller sig ud og løfter en femdages rejse op i den helt magiske kategori.

Vi vandrede i fjeldene, badede i havet, sejlede kajak på Reinefjorden, besøgte den historiske fiskerlandsby Nusfjord, nød saunagus på et hemmeligt sted kombineret med isbad, oplevede nordlyset danse over himlen og meget mere.

Men når alt kommer til alt, handler det om det fællesskab, som Fie, Bjørn og deres nye tilføjelse, Line, formår at skabe.

Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage til version 3.0.

En oplevelse ud over det sædvanlige
Denne rejse er et minde for livet! Vi havde meget høje forventninger, og de blev fuldt ud indfriet. De fire dage føltes som to uger, fordi vi nåede at opleve så mange fantastiske ting.

Alt var gennemtænkt – fra stedet, vi boede, til aktiviteterne og maden. Vi skulle ikke tænke på andet end at nyde os selv og Lofoten. Fie og Bjørn havde desuden valgt oplevelser, som ikke føltes turistede, men derimod autentiske og helt særlige for Lofoten.

Jeg går meget op i ansvarlig turisme, og det kunne man virkelig mærke, at de også gør. Vi var på en skøn kajaktur, to fantastiske vandreture, oplevede nordlys, besøgte lokale caféer og nød masser af vinterbadning og sauna.

Vi kunne simpelthen ikke have ønsket os en bedre rejse.

Min rejse med North Away kan næsten ikke beskrives
Min rejse med North Away kan næsten ikke beskrives med ord. Jeg havde aldrig været på en grupperejse før, men denne tur har uden tvivl givet mig lyst til at tage afsted igen.

Alt på rejsen med North Away var virkelig godt planlagt. Programmet gav mulighed for at opleve nogle af de smukkeste steder i den norske natur. En uge i en skøn stor villa med havet lige udenfor døren, sauna i haven, lækker mad til alle måltider og endda muligheden for at opleve nordlyset.

Jeg kan kun varmt anbefale at rejse med North Away. Fie og Bjørn brænder virkelig for det, de laver, og gør alt for at give dig den bedst tænkelige oplevelse i Lofoten.

Fantastisk rejse!
Min rejse med North Away var helt fantastisk. Fie og Bjørn er skønne mennesker, som virkelig brænder for Lofoten. De er altid hjælpsomme, varme og imødekommende, og vi følte os taget hånd om på alle tænkelige måder.

Programmet var planlagt til perfektion og gav os mulighed for at opleve utrolig meget. Det var den perfekte kombination af eventyr, fysisk aktivitet, oplevelser, afslapning, storslået natur, lokal viden og hyggeligt samvær med gruppen.

Vores indkvartering fortjener også en særlig omtale - et hyggeligt hus med en fantastisk beliggenhed, hvor vi blev forkælet med lækker, lokal mad.

Hvor eventyr møder fællesskab
Jeg var med på en 6-dages rejse med North Away i samarbejde med EYDA. Dagene var fyldt med træning, yoga, meditation, sauna, spa og de smukkeste vandreture.

Fie og Bjørn er nogle utroligt varme og jordnære mennesker, og det gjorde det så trygt og nemt at rejse alene og føle sig som en del af fællesskabet fra allerførste dag. De havde udarbejdet en virkelig god pakkeliste, og hele rejsen var utrolig velorganiseret.

Det bedste ved turen var den måde, den samlede os på og skabte et stærkt fællesskab. Jeg kunne ærligt talt ikke have ønsket mig mere.

Norsk natur på fineste vis✨
Vi havde en helt fantastisk tur med North away til Lofoten! Alt var gennemtænkt og planlagt, så vi bare kunne nyde oplevelsen. Kombinationen af smuk natur, sauna ved vandet, udfordrende og sjove hikes samt træning i de mest idylliske omgivelser gjorde rejsen helt unik.

Stemningen på turen var afslappet, men samtidig fyldt med energi og gode vibes. Vejlederne var både professionelle og nærværende – man følte sig tryg og i gode hænder hele vejen.

Kan kun give mine varmeste anbefalinger til North away, hvis man vil have en aktiv ferie, hvor natur, fællesskab og oplevelser går op i en højere enhed. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!

What you see, is what you get
After many self-arranged trips, this year we decided to take advantage of some convenient local expertise. North Away sent us an excellent itinerary that perfectly matched our needs and, most importantly, was accurate and easy to follow.
